Software Inside Sales Representative <BR> <BR> HP Software is looking for a recent college graduate who wants to pursue a career in sales/marketing. This sales position is an ideal starting point to explore customer facing, outbound sales activities and to gain experience in interacting with senior business mangers.<BR> <BR> The successful candidate will join an experienced team chartered to identify, develop, close and support sales opportunities at customers ranging from smaller organizations up to the largest strategic enterprises. The Inside Sales Representative will work closely with Field Sales Reps, Channel Partners, and other teammates to generate software revenue for HP in the most efficient method, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction throughout the process. Mastering HP s broad portfolio of software solutions and selling methodology in this role will provide the Inside Sales Rep with the knowledge and experience required to success in a variety of field sales, channel sales or business development roles as their career progresses.<BR> <BR> The ideal candidate has outstanding verbal and written communication skills, the drive to succeed, a basic understanding of sales and marketing processes and understands what drives buyer behavior. A Bachelor s in a business field and a background/interest in technology enable the candidate to quickly grasp the value of HP Software to customers and to transport the value proposition confidently and convincingly to influencers and the actual buyer. Previous sales experience is desired, but not required. <BR> <BR> HP Software is one of the fastest growing organizations within HP. The successful candidate will have the chance to grow with HP Software and to use HP Software as a launch pad into a career at HP.<BR> <BR> Responsibilities: <BR> <UL> <LI>Manage a sales territory (either account lists or geography) and drive license, maintenance and services revenue through partners and direct sales.</LI> <LI>Promote the Software value proposition and create demand for all of software products within designated markets.</LI> <LI>Work closely with channel sales, outside sales, and marketing.</LI> <LI>Disposition/Qualify all incoming opportunities, either from the Sales Development team or other means, and allocate to field/partners/self according to the best channel for closing the business.</LI> <LI>Forecast accurately on a monthly and quarterly basis.</LI> <LI>Conduct product or solution focused campaigns into both installed base and net new (Greenfield) customers</LI> <LI>Track all leads, opportunities and customer interactions via the appropriate CRM tool</LI> </UL> Overtime : none Qualifications:<BR> The successful candidate will have graduated within the last 12 months of their start date AND have the following qualifications:<BR> <UL> <LI>BA/BS or equivalent.</LI> <LI>1 to 2 years customer-facing experience in a competitive high tech environment (preferably the software marketplace).</LI> <LI>Proven track record and methodology of achieving/exceeding measurable goals.</LI> <LI>Ability to communicate articulately, confidently, and professionally with senior level managers and executives, both written and verbal</LI> <LI>Understanding of the sales process and what drives a buyer s behavior.</LI> <LI>Ability to conduct research via the Internet.</LI> <LI>Prior CRM usage a plus (preferably Siebel)</LI> <LI>MS Office Suite literate</LI> </UL> HP may not sponsor individuals for immigration benefits in this position.<BR> This is an Entry-Level opportunity.
